EGR coolers for Volvo Powertrain

Modine Manufacturing Company, a world leader in developing thermal solutions for the truck market has designed new exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) coolers for Volvo Powertrain, a member of the Volvo Group and the world's largest manufacturer of heavy-duty diesel engines. These EGR coolers will help Volvo and its customers to meet the new 2007 United States Environmental Protection Agency requirements of 90 percent lower emissions for heavy-duty diesel engines starting in January, 2007. Modine will be manufacturing the EGR coolers for use in Volvo's new engine family of 11-, 13- and 16-liter diesel engines.
